Solar Control Films opened the Southern tint supplier & distributor warehouse in Houston, Texas to supply Global Window Films auto tint, architectural tint, safety film and specialty films like frost tint to tinters in Texas and Louisiana. After successfully promoting and distributing Global branded window film, Global Window Films expanded the territory to include Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota (MO, OK, AR, KS, NE, SD, & ND).

Solar Control Films opened the second Global distributor center in St. Louis, MO in January 2009. The 5,000 square foot facility complements the 6,000 square foot distribution center in Houston, Texas.
